Sweet sultry singer, Raquel has been identified as the Ghanaian artiste who inadvertently or otherwise exposed her genitalia live on stage in-front of a crowd of over 2000, at the just ended Decemba2Rememba (D2R) 2011 hiplife concert, on Christmas Eve at the main hall of the Accra International Conference Centre.
The incident occurred when the “Sweetio” singer, dressed to kill in a sea blue silky straight attire, appeared on stage without any panties and gave free viewing access to her sex organ whiles she was performing on stage. Even though the back of her sleeveless dress was okay, lengthwise, the front was cut too low; above her knee and midway to her hips.
When Raquel was happily singing her latest smash hit “Sweetio” which featured Sarkodie, she allegedly positioned herself in such a way that some members in the audience, especially on the front row including Peacefmonline.com’s Entertainment Reporter, Eugene Osafo-Nkansah, Stone of GTV, and Nana Yaw of Nanayaw18.comamongst others, were left with no choice than to feast their eyes on something else.
Some photographers at the front row including Andy Addison ofCitifmonline.com and Gifty Lawson of News One were somehow fortunate enough to capture Raquel showing the entire flesh of her private part. Interestingly, this was also shown on the two projectors mounted on either side stage, albeit in a flash, and those in the auditorium who had their eyes focused on the projectors at that particularly moment were witnesses to the rather unnerving spectacle.
In the said picture, Raquel who is not really an active dancer, had her thighs tightly closed, meaning it was because her stage attire was cut too short and seemed to be the case anytime she moved her hands upwards as part on her stage craft.
Peacefonline.com investigations into the first celebrity scandal in 2012 reveal that Citi FM, organizers of the D2R concert event are in possession of some of the nude shots but have refused to release them.

OMG, it was Singer Raquel who didn’t wear panties during her performance

Sala, an upcoming afro-pop music icon whose presence in the music industry has been welcomed by music fans, yesterday told BEATWAVES that in 2012 she would make her presence felt by her fans who have waited for far too long to see her live on stage.

A large number of Ghanaian music fans who have listened to Sala’s songs and watched her music video on TV, have described her as one of the few talented music icons whose talent goes beyond the borders of Ghana.

Sala’s songs are motivating and soul-touching, and though it is obvious that they were composed and sang by a young Ghanaian artiste, the rhythms and beats in her songs could easily compete with those on the international music market, declared a music fan in a chat with BEATWAVES.

Salamatu Yakubu aka Sala, who looked determined to win glory internationally, promised that 2012 was a journey of no return, adding that her unique style and the zeal to achieve would get her there, adding that she was bringing nothing but the best of music.

“I am ready for 2012. I want to make sure I break boundaries. I am going to set a record. I want my fans to feel my presence this year,” she declared.

The sensational afro-pop singer who does not limit herself to only afro pop but can blend afro-pop with hiplife, hiphop, rag-life, among others, is a great talent and definitely too hot to handle.

With her silky voice, Sala hinted that she was ready to exhibit her creative talents anytime she had the chance to perform live on stage. According to her, her creative skills, stagecraft, dancing skills and her style of performance would surely be acknowledged by music fans.

“Sala is ready for the world. She sings very well and will not be restricted to Ghana or Africa but will go beyond all boundaries to compete with those already on the chart.”

In addition to her musical career, Sala is a model, a songwriter and a budding actress in the making. She first had her talents acknowledged while she was studying in Europe, majoring in the Arts.

This young, energetic and pretty music star who released two hit singles, ‘Fakye Me’ and ‘Just The Beginning’ last year, has been groomed into a professional star to meet the challenges ahead of her.

BEATWAVES gathered that this year, Sala will release seven music videos. Currently she has already released two music videos – ‘Keti Keke’ and ‘Kasa Low’ – which are making waves on the scene.

Her manager, Duke Banson, CEO of Paradise Entertainment, a music label managing Sala, told BEATWAVES that “We could make the world stand up and notice Africa in a different light, culturally. The talent is amazing, but I do not think they are getting the right opportunity to showcase it”.

He said Paradise Entertainment was made up of totally committed music professionals who were creative in marketing solutions through events and television production.

“Our philosophy is to interact with our clients, allowing them to work closely as part of the creative process. We create complete solutions, from identity creation, full marketing strategies and brand development as well as event management with an unbeatable track record in event organisation which make us stand out undisputedly,” Duke Banson declared.

Praye Tenten, the tallest member of hiplife trio, Praye, has finally come out of his shell to speak about what he considers as an unfair deal given him by his former mates, Eugene Baah (Praye Ho Ne Ho) and Steven Fiawoo (Praye Tiatia).

According to Praye Tenten, for seven months after his break-up with the group, the two have been saying all sorts of things about him which are not true.

In an interview with Showbiz last Sunday, Praye Tenten (real name Nana Adu Koranteng) said that he had heard the two on several occasions granting radio interviews and saying that he had grown wings and that is why he went solo.

Praye Tenten said that was false, rather he explained that it was Eugene who told him point blank that he didn’t want him in the group because of one minor issue.

Asked whether he has made any attempt to get to them after his break-up, he explained that he has placed calls and sent several messages to them but they have refused answering his calls and replying to his messages.

“I feel very bad that the two are treating me this way. The three of us have suffered in bringing up the group this far and I don’t think this is what I deserve after my contribution to the group” Praye Tenten said.

Explaining what really happened before he was kicked out of the group, Praye Tenten told Showbiz someone insulted Eugene and he went to deal with the fellow. According to him, he was asked to apologise and after his apology, the same Eugene told him he can’t be part of the group again.

According to him, he initially thought it was a joke until he saw the two perform on stage without him. Asked what the future holds for him, he said he will not fold his hands between his thighs and go hungry and that he is preparing to come out with his own album soon.

Praye Tenten added that, the two owe him and he needs his money if they claim he shouldn’t be part of the group anymore.

Eugene Baah had a different story to tell Showbiz. According to him, he never kicked Praye Tenten out and that he wanted to go solo so he was given three months to decide after which he finally said he wanted to go solo.

“I don’t know why he keeps saying I kicked him out of the group, I never did that and will never do that, we are a group who were doing so well so why would I do such a thing” Eugene explained.

He denied that Praye Tenten was owed any money. He said, however, that if Praye Tenten wanted to come back to the group, no one is stopping him.
